STEVE
Hi! At our house you will find 3 Maltese females (who run the place) and one Yorkie male (who thinks he does!). We have been toying With the idea of adding another one in a year or two. I also have two grand puppies: a yellow lab and golden retriever. I have worked with large & small animals for about 20 years now. I worked at a mom and pop retail pet supply store in Maryland, trained with a groomer located in a vets office and worked in pet retail in Virginia for 5 years. Comfortable with all breeds of dogs. I will be offering doggie daycare at The Grooming Station so your baby doesn't have to be alone during the day. Bring your baby in to meet me.....
Krista
I absolutely love being with animals all day. I have a creative side and love to make a pet look beautiful and make it feel good. I have 2 wonderful children and a few pets: 2 cats, 3 Pomerians 1 Chihuahua, 2 Rottweilers, 1 Whippet, 1 Bug (pug & a boston mix), 2 Boston Terriers! As you can tell I love to be surrounded by pets. I have been grooming for over 10 years & I wouldn't do anything else. To be able to feel like an artist every day to me is very relaxing and rewarding!
Amy
My name is Amy and I have been grooming for about 6 years. Prior to grooming, I worked as a vet assistant and kennel worker. I have been working with animals for about 8 years now. I have four dogs of my own. (Asher and Alice- Standard Poodles, Jasper- Toy Poodle, and Ripley- Beagle/Cattle Dog Mix) When I am not at work, I enjoy being outdoors and spending time in the yard with my four-legged children. I have done an agility course with one of my poodles and would really like to take some more. I also attend dog shows and grooming seminars whenever possible. I groom all breeds of dogs, but feel I specialize in Poodles.
Nell
Hi, My name is Nell.
I began my career in 2006 when I graduated from a Grooming Academy in Charlotte, NC. Over the next 6 years I worked for a corporate grooming facility, out of my home, and as a mobile groomer. In May of 2012 I left the corporate side of it for good, and began working for a veterinary hospital. Although I loved many aspects of working in a vet setting, my heart was always in grooming. I just knew I never wanted to groom for a corporation again. And, so, here I am! I also live at home with my husband and our three beautiful doggies, Spike, Fiona (the princess) & Harlie-Quinn.
